Why Coaching?
Coaching gives you time and space to explore where you want to go in any area of your life and to think about how you want to get there.
It’s about embracing the person you most want to be, discovering what’s important to you, and getting clarity about what might be standing between you and your goals.
If you would like the opportunity to be pro-active about any aspect of your life and explore your options in a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment, book a free call with me today.
About me
I’m a life coach and author and have been doing both roles in many guises for over 20 years. I worked in corporate Public Relations before changing paths and pursuing a dream of becoming a writer. I now work in charity communications, write books and, in recent years, formalised my training and role as a life coach.
I love to encourage people to live life intentionally, to pursue the goals that are important to them, and to learn more about themselves along the way. I enjoy championing and cheer-leading my clients, providing encouragement and support as well as challenges to help them navigate life’s highs and lows.
I have co-written a number of books on topics like resilience, living with anxiety, depression, and what it looks like to have faith in times of crisis and pain.
I live in Hertfordshire and am part of the Soul Survivor Watford church family. I love reading, spending time with friends and family, and baking anything where chocolate is a key ingredient.

If you want to make the most of your life, then yes! We’ll have a free consultation before we begin any coaching sessions to chat through where you’re at, where you’d like to be, and to make sure coaching is the right fit for you.
-
The initial consultation is free – this is a session for you to ask any questions you like and to find out more about the coaching process. After that sessions are charged by the hour. I want to make coaching as accessible as possible so I offer a scale of payments and you can pay me what you can afford within that.
-
Coaching isn’t about me telling you what to do with your life, it’s about you having space to explore what’s right for you in a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment. We are the only ones who know what is truly right for us but many of us don’t make time to really examine what that is. Coaching provides that opportunity.
Before you book any sessions we’ll have a phone call or Zoom chat to discuss coaching, your needs, and whether this is the right thing for you and the right time for you. If it is, we’ll discuss how many sessions may be suitable for you.
-
Each session is an hour long. At the start we’ll discuss what you’d like to get out of the session and then we’ll spend some time exploring that topic, with space for you to talk and for me to ask questions to help you gain insights into yourself and your situation. Before we finish, we’ll take some time to reflect on the session and for you to set achievable actions as your next steps.
-
The possibilities are endless! Some of the things I have recently coached people on include:
Life transitions such as moving job, moving area, choosing a new career
Setting life goals
Understanding your core values
Gaining confidence
Finding a good rhythm to everyday life
Self-care and rest
Exploring creativity
Spirituality
Dealing with stress at work

Most people choose to have a series of coaching sessions ranging from a standalone course of six, through to one session per month indefinitely to help them keep on track and to grow in different areas of their life. The number of sessions is flexible and you don’t need to sign up to a set number at the start. Many people find they gain such a lot from each session that they opt to continue and come back for more at a later date.
-
I coach most of my clients on Zoom so you can be in any part of the country, or world, to book a session. I see most of my clients on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 9am and 5.30pm (BST) but I try to be flexible so please do contact me if you need to book sessions outside of these times.

Drop me an email and book in a half-hour chat! We’ll make sure coaching is right for you and that now is the right time for you to start.
